Arabic for “guide” or “teacher,” your Murshid is your personal companion — guide, butler, concierge, and hiking partner. They tailor your journey to your interests, ensuring every detail is considered.

Arrival Service
Upon arrival at Muscat International Airport, guests are met at the aircraft door by their personal Murshid and fast-tracked through arrivals via The Malkai Lounge.

Throughout the journey, guests have exclusive use of a fully equipped Land Rover Defender — with Wi-Fi, refreshments, and the freedom to explore at their own pace.

The Malkai journey includes three distinct locations in Oman: Barkaa (a date farm plantation, near Muscat), Hajar (in the Al Hajar mountains) and Sharqiyah (in the Sharqiya Sands desert)
Fly into Muscat International Airport, which has direct connections from the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Barkaa, the first stop on the journey, is a 30-minute drive from the airport. Your private Guide will greet you at the aircraft door and guide you through arrivals.
